Halloween Festivities

Adelaide had a blast helping Cole carve a pumpkin. She wants everything spooky, so Cole tried his best to make the pumpkin spooky.

Getting ready to go trunk or treating at the church. It was cold out so we had to bundle up.
We invited our neighbor Maddy to join us. She was a vampire and Adelaide thought she looked spooky!
Adelaide was not shy one bit. As soon as she caught on that she was getting candy from everyone she would go right up and say, "treat." She was in heaven. They had scones and hot chocolate after, but she wasn't interested. She went right for her candy.
Cole's family had their Harman Family Dance Party. Cole dressed up as Kearny. For those of you who don't know who Kearny is....When Cole was younger him and his cousins made a movie of Kearny. There is a headstone that only says, "KEARNY, woodsman of the west." They made a movie of his life. Weird I know.
Grandma Ferrin took us to breakfast with a witch. It was so much fun. I thought Adelaide would be scared of the witches, but she wasn't. She loved them. She couldn't stop talking about them all day. As soon as she would see someone new she would go right up and start telling them about the witches.

Adelaide was so excited to go trick or treating again. We took her around our circle and then Cole took her to a few people around town. Every time she got back in the car she would light up and say, "more trick or treat." She definitely takes after her mom with her love of candy.

Isn't she one cute princess! Here she is with all of her candy. She could have ate it all if we let her.
