#2

Well I guess it is official and I better make an announcement that we are expecting baby #2. I am about 14 weeks and my due date for now is July 27th. I have my big ultra sound on March 4th and they will know a better due date. The doctor thought he saw something else my first ultra sound, but we had another ultra sound last week and there is only ONE baby. Phew! I would love twins, but it would be so hard. We are so excited to have another baby! This pregnancy has definitely been different that Adelaide's. I have been sick all day long, but I finally am getting into my 2nd trimester and feeling much better and more energized. I can't wait for Adelaide to be a big sister!

Nap Time

Yesterday I put Adelaide down for her nap. We were a little late going down because we visited Cole at work. She went down fine and then five minutes later I heard her cry. I just let her cry it out. After 20 minutes I went to check on her and this is what I found. I was trying so hard not to laugh out loud. I love this little girl!!

Power Out!

Living in Kemmerer we have dealt with many power outages. Last week we had the longest one yet. I woke up at 7:00 a.m to the power already out. By the time Adelaide and I got out of bed the temperature was already down to 66 degrees. We had heard the power should be back on before noon. We bundled up and started a fire with the 4 small logs we had in the house. We played music on my phone, danced, read books and played around. It was getting pretty cold in the house so we tried to stay in the living room by the fire. The fire soon ran out and I really didn't want to go fetch wood in our shed and go through snow up to my thighs. So I decided to teach Adelaide how to roast a mallow. Yes that is right we roasted marshmallows in our fireplace. DELICIOUS! Adelaide went down for her nap so I bundled her up and put 4 blankets on her. It was freezing now. Finally 2:00 p.m came and the power finally came back on. Our house got down to 56 degrees. It was such a long cold day.

Christmas 2010

This year for Christmas we spent Christmas Eve with my family and then slept over at Vern and Susan's and did Christmas morning there. We were excited to see what Adelaide's reaction would be once she saw her presents. I only wrapped one present because I knew she wouldn't quite get it and I thought it would be fun to see her reaction to all the toys. We gave her a little elmo and that was the hit of Christmas morning. I tried posting a video because it was so funny, but I couldn't get it to work. She sure got spoiled this year from everyone. We spent the rest of the morning and afternoon with my family and then had crab feast at the Pickrells. It was such a fun Christmas this year. Thanks to all our family for our wonderful gifts!
