Watching the Abrams

We got to watch Cole's niece's and nephew's for a few days while their parents were on vacation. It was so fun to have cousin's for Adelaide to play with each day. Sadie and Lizzie were her best friends. They both fought over who got to sit by her at meals, to push her in the swing and to play ring around the rosies with. (Adelaide finally figured out that more than two people could play that game). We had so much fun enjoying the warm weather Salt Lake had to offer. The Abrams are so easy to watch and helped out so much!

Adelaide loved being in her swimsuit, but not so much in the water.

Random Pictures

Aunt Erin gave Adelaide some new toys to play with and it has been a lifesaver. Being 8 month's pregnant it is sometimes hard to get down and play with her all day. She decided it was funner to play in the bucket then with the blocks this day. (Look she is getting hair!)
We attempted to go for a walk to the park, but once we got to the park it was so cold we were only there for 5 minutes. One of Adelaide's favorite things to do right now is get in her crib with all of her animals and dolls and play. This time around she wanted to go "night night" with them all. Yes she still has a binky, but only for naps and bed time. She is getting her 2 year molars right now so I think I will wait to get rid of it till she sleeps better.
I have been getting out all of the baby stuff and Adelaide is in heaven. It's like a whole new room of toys to play with. I think she likes them better now then when she was a baby. We might be in trouble when she doesn't get everything she wants.
Adelaide adores her cousin Milli. They play so well together and Adelaide loves to follow her around and do everything she does.
Cole tried to snap a picture of Adelaide in her cute Sunday attire. Cole saw these cowboy boots and had to get them for her. I have to admit she looks pretty dang cute in them.
Loves her sunglasses!

Super Woman & Man

We can go a little crazy sitting in the house all day. It is just barely starting to get warm here and usually it's only for a couple hours and then the wind will start blowing making it cold. One Sunday evening Cole got creative on trying to entertain Adelaide. Well it was definitely a success! He pulled her around the house on her dolphin and then ran around with their capes. It was so funny and she didn't want to stop.

Easter

We had a wonderful Easter this year. The only thing that would have made it better is if Cole was in town for the Easter egg hunts. The first hunt started at Great Grandpa Harman's backyard. I can't believe how many eggs and treats there were for everyone. Adelaide wasn't quite sure what to do. I thought she would try and open each egg to see what was inside, but she did good and would just drop it in her basket and go on to the next one. She wasn't very fast, but she had a blast. We had more help at Grandma and Grandpa Blackburn's so I was able to snap a few more pictures. This time around she wanted to open the eggs as she went. She sure got spoiled with lots of candy, but lucky for her she had her mom to help eat it all. It is so fun as she gets older to actually participate in things.

Wheeler Farm & Hogle Zoo

Adelaide LOVES animals. I have been wanting to take her to the zoo, but was just waiting for a warm day that we were in town. Our friends Christiana and her little girl Eliza came to join in the fun. I was excited to see Adelaide's facial expressions when she saw the animals, but I think she was a little afraid. It's a little different seeing them in a book than in real life. Anytime I got her out of the stroller she hung on for dear life. Especially with the Tigers. She did like the Giraffe though. We haven't been able to make it back yet, but hopefully I will be able to take her before baby #2 arrives.

It was still a little chilly when we took her to Wheeler Farm, but it was still nice to get out of the house. She can make almost every farm animal noise, so we were excited to see what she would think up close. She loved the Mules and even tried to pet them. They are pretty harmless. Everything else she was pretty hesitant. She absolutely hated the goats. They were loud and scared her to death. It was a fun family outing.
