What Adelaide Loves!

SUGAR! Is she to young???
UTAH! Go Utes!!
Cuddling up to Grandpa Ferrin! She loves Grandma too. She likes to follow everything she does!
Hanging out at Grandma & Grandpa Blackburn's!
Going on walks with mom and dad! As you can tell by how many layers it was pretty cold and windy out!
FOOD! She would rather have what we are eating, but she figures this will do for awhile.
BATH TIME! She is so good in the bath! She loves to kick her little feet in the water!
A couple cute pictures I couldn't resist posting. My brother is trying to potty train Milli so we were showing her that Adelaide likes to be a big girl too. Posing for mom. 5 1/2 months old.

M&M's

While loading the car to go home Adelaide was getting fussy. I was trying to hurry so I gave her a little pack of M&M's to play with. The day before I had given them to her and she had sucked through the bag and got a little taste. Well I didn't think I would be that long loading the car, but it took longer than I thought. I hurried back to her and this is what I found...
I was to late! She had managed to get the bag open. She had it all over her. I hurried and grabbed the bag out of her mouth and she instantly started crying. She was so mad I took them away from her. I couldn't help, but laugh.

It's always an Adventure!

This weekend we decided to stay up in Wyoming because I had just got back from Salt Lake. Cole is always trying to get me to go on a drive with him to see what is around up here. Well on Saturday I finally decided we could go for a little drive, but we had to go when Adelaide would be taking her long nap. He wanted to drive to flaming gorge and said that our neighbor said it was only a 45 minute drive. I told him that 45 minutes was as far as I would go. Well by the time we finally left the house Adelaide had already slept for over an hour. I sat in the back and tried to keep her up as long as I could. As we drove out of town the sign said it was 53 miles to flaming gorge. Well after our 53 mile drive we arrived in this little town that we thought flaming gorge was in. As we continued on our path we saw a sign that said flaming gorge dam was still about 40 miles away. WHAT!! Well we thought we would drive a little bit and see if we could see any of the lake. We couldn't. I told Cole I didn't care what we did, but really I just wanted to turn around. We finally arrived another 45 minutes later to the dam. It was pretty cool, but I don't know if it was worth the drive to be there for 10 minutes.
I put my sun glasses on Adelaide and she just looked at me for awhile and didn't even bother to try and take them off.

Well as we turned in to go to the dam there was a sign that said Vernal was only 35 miles away. My sister-in-law is from Vernal and while I was in Salt Lake we went out to lunch to cafe rio and she told me that Vernal finally got a cafe rio. Well I told Cole that and so the whole time we were at the dam I know Cole's mouth was just watering for cafe rio. He kept making remarks and was just waiting for me to tell him I didn't care if we drove to Vernal. Well I finally gave him the ok and of course we were on our way to cafe rio. So again I sat in the back trying to keep Adelaide awake after we woke her up to see the dam. We finally arrived in Vernal, Utah's dinosaur land.
After fighting about where to park so I could feed the baby in the car we ended up parking at a hotel where cars just kept driving by. After changing her bum we were on our way to cafe rio. After ordering our salads and chips and salsa for our Sunday snack I thought we were so close to finally diving in. By that time we were both starving! Well I couldn't quite understand the lady when she rang up our order and she rang in the wrong salad. I didn't realize it until I sat down and looked at my receipt. Well I thought I paid a dollar extra and man I was going to go up there and get my dollar. As I went up to fix it she of course gave me a dirty look and talked spanish to the other girl that worked there. Well as we got it fixed it was only for fifty cents. Yep I felt pretty stupid that I would make such a fuss over fifty cents. Cole told me I was a cheap skate. Well honey we are on a budget here. Finally we are enjoying our salads. Was it worth it Cole? He said it most definitely was. After I was done eating I took Adelaide out of her car seat so she could stretch out a little. Well of course she decides to go poop and has a blow out. The good thing is that it wasn't a really bad one. We changed her in the car and got some clean clothes on her and we were now on our way home. There was no way to keep her awake in the dark so she got a nice 2 hour nap home.
Sorry this post is so long. Overall it was a fun little trip. The scenery was just beautiful! I now know if I decide to go on a little drive with Cole I better pack my bags because I never know what will be in store.
